DO IT!!!!! ( and yes, you may blame me. I'm Canadian.... so in fact, you can just blame Canada if you like. All I ask is that you sing the "Blame Canada" song while youre doing it)

Ha! I hadn't thought of that. "Canada made me do it." Great idea!

Remember, pain isn't an issue-- I've got all you need for that. And I suppose you could get the kitty thing, but if you're going to blame me, you should get my Medicine Balls logo instead!

I got a tattoo that I started in January and finished in April. It is the whole bottom half of my back and took forever to finish. I love it! It was the best money I ever spent. Just make sure that you trust who does it (i.e. cleanliness, artistic ability) and have at it. The cat shouldn't take that long depending on how big you want it and you will love it forever. Just get it on your back or some place you don't see it all the time. After a while you just forget that it's there.

Do it. Doitdoitdoitdoit... But definitely check up on the place/people doing it. Make sure they're using disposable needles or that they have their own autoclave to sterilize equipment. Check the artist's books to make sure you like their style. I've never seen a lucky-cat flash, so make sure you approve of the person's rendition. And don't let anyone tell you differently: it hurts. I mean, it's a needle. Poking you. A lot. But it's not unbearable (at least I don't think so). Shannon, if you get the tattoo, we can rock the tattoo'd-girls-that-J-has-fucked team on TAR!! YEAH!

If you do get the ink, I will totally go with you, because I want a new one, too. And it doesn't hurt that bad at all. :)

I have a tattoo of the word "tattoo" on my shoulder. It bothers me when people think it's a reference to Fantasy Island.

Get the lucky cat, but put it on a crucifix. You still get cute cat colored skin and, as a crucified cat really isn't very lucky at all, people will be less likely to think you open for business. Also, no matter how old we get, we all need something naughty to hide from our parents.

er...uh...not that you're old or anything.
